Queen’s Backing Action on Climate Change (QBACC)

We are an activist based campus group that aims to create an environmental social movement at Queen's and contribute to a national movement through a diversity of tactics and whatever non-violent means necessary.  QBACC's campaigns are primarily politically focused, attempting to achieve local and regional victories on climate that send strong political messages to other communities (regional, provincial and national in scale) that climate change is a priority that needs to be addressed.

How you can get Involved: QBACC has weekly general meeting (everyone welcome) and weekly exec meetings. If someone wants to get involved, the best way is to join the QBACC Facebook group or email queensbacc@gmail.com. We send out weekly emails telling where/when our general meeting is.

Executive applications are usually in March. That said, anyone who knows a bit about QBACC (who has been to a few events or general meetings) could come out the exec meetings if they're interested.
